This is a video transcoder specialized in converting your WMV video files into 3GP videos and vice versa. It can also be used to convert your videos from and to 3G2 format, and to extract the audio from any of the supported video files. In addition, it allows you to configure the output audio and video quality, and to convert several video files in a single operation.
The program's user interface allows you to add one or more source video files – in any of the supported formats – to create a conversion list. However, you need to choose the desired output format beforehand from the four available options – 3GP, 3G2, WMA, and WMV. As you can imagine, WMA format is for audio extraction and, unfortunately, this is the only output audio format supported. As stated before, the program allows you to configure some parameters related to the quality of the output, such as the video size, the video quality, and the audio quality. Moreover, you can set the program to split the resulting file(s) for you, either by size or by duration. For this purpose, you can either choose an existing value from a list of presets or establish a custom value. And another very important asset of this program is that it allows you to set a different output profile and a different level of quality for each added source file, and even assign two or more output profiles to a single source file. more
